General enquiries usually receive a reply within 1–3 business days.
For setup help, include the store domain, the last successful step, and the visible error or status message.
After Shopify authorisation and billing approval, ParticleSearch handles catalogue preparation and shows readiness in the dashboard. Your only setup action is enabling the app embed in the published theme; initial indexing time depends on catalogue size and readiness. We route anything that does not pass from the store, last successful step, and visible message, so you do not have to diagnose the platform alone. General enquiries usually receive a reply within 1–3 business days.
ParticleSearch uses Shopify's theme app embed delivery path across supported themes. Enable the embed and verify the published storefront; if your theme needs extra handling, contact support before launch.
ParticleSearch is designed to load as an isolated search layer, so your theme does not need to carry the search work directly. The widget loads independently and the search requests run through the search API.
The core experience combines typo and bounded zero-result recovery, variant and metadata-aware indexing, full-page search, filters, collection browsing, quick add, catalogue sync, and a merchant dashboard for search evidence. Additional capabilities such as content search, recommendations, experiments, and revenue context depend on the approved plan, permissions, and store configuration.
Stay native when your important exact, messy, filtered, mobile, and no-result queries pass on the surfaces shoppers use, and the team has enough analytics and controls to act on failures. Evaluate an independent layer when a native gap is reproducible, affects a meaningful buyer job, and the candidate can prove a better result on the same judged set.
ParticleSearch handles routine catalogue preparation, search delivery, health signals, and recovery paths. It cannot invent missing or incorrect product data, decide that every internal field should be shopper-facing, guarantee conversion, or publish a change without your approval. Your team supplies accurate Shopify data and makes the final merchandising decision; ParticleSearch keeps the evidence and next step together. When a setup or storefront check is unclear, support can route it from the store, last successful step, and visible message.
Recommendation strategies are available on eligible plans, including similar products, frequently bought together, trending, best sellers, new arrivals, complete the look, and cart cross-sell. They can appear only where the approved plan, permissions, catalogue readiness, and matching theme block support the selected placement.
On Scale, with tracking and required permissions set up, you can review orders linked to search activity. The view is based on recorded shopping activity, not Shopify-reconciled order totals, so treat it as evidence about a shopper path, not proof that search created extra sales.
On eligible plans with content sync enabled, Shopify pages and blog articles can appear in search results alongside products. Merchants control which content types are included, how many results appear, and whether content opens in a new tab.
On plans that include experimentation, the A/B experiment manager can create controlled tests on search ranking and recommendations. Assign traffic between variants and compare the available CTR, order, and revenue evidence. Review the sample, attribution, and experiment-design boundaries before treating a result as a rollout decision.
Your dashboard separates committed shopper searches from request executions, then shows products found, product actions, zero-result patterns, and catalogue sync review. Depending on the approved plan and enabled capabilities, it can also show quality goals, a repeated-evidence Fixes queue, protected searches, product and filter activity, revenue context, experiment evidence, trends, and funnel analysis. Available history depends on the store and plan.

Shopify handles billing approval. ParticleSearch does not collect payment details directly. If Shopify confirms trial eligibility, charges start after the trial on the plan you approved; otherwise the approval screen shows the applicable billing start before you accept.
Installation is reversible. You can remove the app at any time from your Shopify admin. That is one reason the demo and free trial exist, so you can evaluate before committing.
ParticleSearch does not use customer profiles or payment details to power search. It processes catalogue data, search interactions, and limited order evidence used for search attribution. Shopify access is OAuth-based, and the privacy policy and data processing agreement describe the current data boundary.
