This page is a plain-language map of ParticleSearch's public privacy, security, and operating boundaries. It links to the documents that control the service so your team can review what is processed, why it is processed, and what remains outside the product's scope.

This overview does not replace the Privacy Policy, Data Processing Agreement, or Terms of Service. Those documents govern the applicable relationship and should be read for a legal or procurement review.

What crosses the boundary

Data is tied to a purpose, not an open-ended profile.

The exact retention and processing terms depend on the configured capability. The table below keeps the public explanation at the same level as the underlying documents.

Shopify catalogue data	Indexing, search delivery, catalogue health, and storefront discovery.	Product and variant data remains store-scoped and is not sold to advertising networks.
Shopify permissions and optional signals	Authorisation, catalogue delivery, storefront operation, and optional attribution setup.	ParticleSearch does not request product, inventory, order, or customer write access. Optional content, customer-event, web-pixel, and order permissions are used only for the enabled capability.
Search interactions	Search results, clicks, filters, refinements, and query evidence for merchant analytics.	Free text is minimised and high-confidence contact, payment-card, and URL patterns are redacted before persistence.
Optional attribution evidence	Consent-aware, pseudonymous touchpoint and eligible completed-order context when enabled by a merchant.	Observed attribution is path evidence, not a claim of incremental or causal revenue lift.
Website and email data	Support replies, requested commercial context, and optional double-opt-in email updates.	Website visitors choose whether to submit contact or subscription data; deletion requests can be sent to support.
